• Change hostname from rsg-pcxxx
• Join cs.uwaterloo.ca domain - or - Add local userid
  • cscf-adm and cscf-op exist and have 2010 passwords (see safe)

SSH Keys

1. ) Change hostname from rsg-pcxxx by updating /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts

      Regenerate the ssh-keys:
         cd /etc/ssh
         rm *key*
         dpkg-reconfigure openssh-server

User accounts

• If you wish to join the AD see UbuntuLdapScripts
• To create a local account:
  • Create for system owner System -> Administration -> Users and Groups Highlight -> Advanced Settings -> User Privileges -> Check all
