Ricardo Salmon

Ricardo Salmon is a Computer Science PhD student, with extensive experience including:
- Vice-President Finance, CS Alumni Association
- Chair of the Budget Committee
- Member of the Executive Committee
- Responsible for sponsorship and funding events
- GSA Activities Committee Member
- Active Member of the GSA
- Mathematics Faculty Graduate Studies Committee
- Mentor and program assistant for Mentorship Program
- Active member of many student clubs at UW
Ricardo is very passionate about student issues and wants to see the CS graduate program and students thrive.
Ricardo has a great vision for CS and plans to build on what has already been established,
utilizing his event planning skills and experience working on graduate student issues.
Ricardo's focus will be on:
- Games night including poker and Wii tournaments
- Social events for grad students to interact and collaborate on research
- Forum to encourage discussion between students
