travelI love traveling. If I can figure out a way to do all this computer stuff on a laptop from beaches here & there, I'll be the happiest guy you know (or don't know, I guess I don't know who you are right now :-)). I've spent some time in every Canadian province, but no territories yet (I know, Inuvik or bust!). You know what? They're all very cool. Even Saskatchewan.<my humble opinion> I think that you should see your own country some before you go abroad. Many Canadians don't, and it's a real shame. It gives you a real frame of reference, and you get more out of your travels. </my humble opinion> If you're interested, I've dug deep and built a map:

places i've livedI was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. It's a nice town to visit if you like the outdoors, and it would be a nice sort of place to retire in. I lived in Ottawa for about 6 years while going to Carleton, and most of my family moved there while I was there. It's really that nice of a city! I hope to live there again one day. I lived in Nara, Japan for a year in 2001. It is an amazing place, filled with history and culture. I lived in Vancouver for a few years after that while at UBC. It's rated one of the top cities in the world to live in for many good reasons. Next, I lived in Kingston, one of the finest cities in Ontario, what with all the limestone and history. And finally, I now live in Waterloo.I've been lucky :-) |
