About Carol

I am a PhD student in University of Waterloo. My researach topic is collaborative Intrusion Detection Networks (CIDN)and social networks, which includes the design of the collaboration framework, trust management to detect malicious nodes and expertise nodes, incentive design to encourage participants to actively contribute to the collaboration, and performance optimization of such a system.
I am familar with Statistics, Machine learning, Game Theory, and algorithms and use them to solve research problems. I also do simulations and implementations myself. I am passionate, determined, and hardworking. I have a scientist dream.
Other than my lab and my home, you can also find me in the library, gym, restaurants, threaters, and shopping centers. I like science,
traveling, sports, music, and movies.
