Research Interests
I am currently interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning type
problems, and more specifically the recognition and manipulation of
hand-drawn mathematical equations. I am supervised by Dr. Richard Mann and Dr. George Labahn,
and I'm affiliated with the Artificial
Intelligence Group and the Symbolic
Computation Group.
Projects
I am currently involved with the MathBrush
pen-math recognition project, here at UW.
I have been involved with a similar project, Freehand Formula Entry
System (FFES) at Queen's
University under the supervision of Dr. Dorothea Blostein
and Dr. Richard Zanibbi.
