Installing the MMC Snap-inDell OpenManage™ Array Manager 3.4
Under Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003, you can use Array Manager from the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) instead of the Array Manager console. For more information on the MMC, refer to the MMC online help.
On Windows NT, you must install the MMC files and Internet Explorer 4.0 or later before you can use the MMC snap-in. The MMC files are available on the Array Manager CD-ROM under the MMC directory. After you have installed the MMC files, select the MMC Snap-in shortcut from the Start menu to access the MMC snap-in.
With Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003, the MMC files are already installed. You can access the MMC snap-in immediately through the MMC Snap-In shortcut from the Start menu.
You can launch the MMC snap-in from the Windows Start menu.
