I am currently a graduate student at the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) and a member of the Database Research Group at the University of Waterloo. I completed my Masters in Computer Science under the joint supervision of Frank Tompa and Ashraf Aboulnaga in July 2008.
My primary research interests are views (selection, maintenance and matching) and privacy policy enforcement within database management systems. I have also been involved in research outside my primary area of expertise and have a fondness for marketing related issues especially in consumer behavioural analysis.
My hobbies and "stuff" that interests me includes aviation, politics, socio-economic theory, analyzing human behaviour, board games like Scrabble and Monopoly (analytical and 'for fun' playing). I also enjoy sporting activities like golf, squash and long distance biking.
