The Computer Science High School Liaison provides support for High School teachers teaching computer science and computer engineering. The main activity for teachers is the CEMC Summer Institute for Computer Studies Educators.
Teachers attend and participate in
Another on-going benefit of the Summer Institute is the development of a comprehensive collection of relevant, classroom-ready resources.
Each year, all participating teachers provided resources which we share with our colleagues across the province.
The Summer Institute can only be successful with collaboration.
Members of the Association of Computer Studies Educators, faculty from the University of Waterloo,
and external sponsorship through the Centre for Education in Math and
Computing work together to provide this invaluable opportunity.
However, it is only because of dedicated High School teachers who present and actively participate in sessions,
that this event is successful. For more information about the Summer Institute and to access classroom resources
