The David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science relies heavily upon pre-enrolment information in order to determine the necessary number of sections and class size for its courses. This information is also used to try and avoid course conflicts as much as possible. It is therefore vitally important for you to pre-enrol if you want the best chance at getting into your necessary courses.
The list of pre-enrolment dates can be found on Quest, under the Important Dates link. If you are unable to successfully pre-enrol, you will need to use the CS waitlist, which can be found at http://www.cs.uwaterloo.ca/current/courses/waitlist/.
