This number will be used for courses being offered to students in CS major academic plans on a temporary basis. In some cases, such a course may be available only once, for example, to take advantage of a visiting professor's expertise. At other times, such topics will be offered experimentally until it is determined whether or not the course should become part of the regular course offerings.
