The CSCF Research Support Group has assigned a point of contact (PoC) for every researcher (faculty member or graduate student) who has subscribed to CSCF research support. You may obtain all your computing support through your point of contact.
If you are unable to reach your PoC within whatever timeframe you require based on the urgency of your request, or if you do not subscribe to research support, or even if you're not sure who to call, you are welcome to contact Lawrence Folland at x32214, or the Associate Director of CSCF, Bill Ince at x32721. We will assist you in getting in touch with your PoC or assigning someone else to address the issue.

The following table lists the research groups that have subscribed to the Dedicated Support plan, and their assigned points of contact. Each research group is free to decide how to use the dedicated support that it has purchased, so the table does not attempt to provide a fixed list of covered equipment for each group. If you are not sure whether a particular request is covered by your group's dedicated support, you should ask your group's CSCF point of contact, or your group's faculty representative.
The following table lists the machines that have been subscribed for Desktop Support, and their CSCF points of contact. Contact Lawrence Folland if you wish to create a new Desktop support subscription, or if you wish to cancel a subscription. Note that CSCF bills subscribers once per term; there are no partial-term billings.
Desktop support is a subscription-based service. Do not wait until you have an emergency to subscribe a machine. CSCF will accept emergency subscriptions, but such subscriptions will be billed retroactively from the start of the current term, and they will be subject to a one year minimum subscription length.
